About KC and Carmen
I am an independent conservative who wishes this country would get back to the basics set forward by our founding fathers. Economic liberty and individual freedom. Everything the government does to restrict those basic ideals slowly kills this country.
I see politicians as nothing more than puppets and gangsters and that is regardless of party.
I believe in the concept of the individual. We are all individuals to start and we join groups as we grow but it is the concept and acknowledgment that we are individuals that is supposed to keep us on the right path. When our group goes down the wrong path then it is up to us as individuals to make a decision as an individual to leave the group and walk a path of righteousness.
I believe in killing terrorist before they kill someone I love.
Radio is my job and my dream come true. Talk radio is one of many entertainment mediums. However it's the most important entertainment medium because it is the only real time, interactive one out there. It's also the only medium where the people who really make America work (you) gather to exchange ideas and opinions. Where they find out they are not alone in their beliefs, get some information and have a laugh at themselves and their neighbors. It's where true free speech is exercised on a daily basis.
Carmen is a native North Carolinian who spent her formative years in McLeansville and is a product of the Guilford County School System.
Which should explain a great deal.
She began working in radio in Tabor City NC and, after stops in Wilmington NC and Memphis TN, she was given her first morning show opportunity in Tampa, FL. While in Tampa, Carmen also hosted a talk show on WFLA and was Glen Beck's fill-in host, presumably while Beck was making the first of his 50 million dollar deals. She is glad that Beck is so successful but she does wish he had shown some appreciation. Preferably in hundred dollar bills.
After Tampa, there were morning shows in Minneapolis and Indianapolis. Carmen took a year break from radio to travel for Park West Art Gallery in Detroit, then returned to NC, settling in Burlington. She worked briefly for WSJS in Winston-Salem as a News Reporter and for 96 Rock as a Morning Show Co-Host for the "Carmen and Salt with Demetri the Greek" show. She had been out of radio a little over 3 years when the opportunity to Co-Host the Morning Rush came along. Carmen is the happiest she's ever been with a format and, as soon as she beats KC into her way of thinking, her job will be perfect.
Carmen is married to her fourth husband, Left Brain (Henry), and they have 3 children. She is adamant that people know her numerous marriages aren't the result of looking for true love but is more of a "poor impulse control" issue.
Her sons are Blake-11, Austin-6, and Liam-3. Her goals for her kids are for them to finally make a soccer goal and keep them out of juvie.
